Oracle DBA

Location: Houston, Texas

Pay: $50/hr (MAX)

Project Duration: 6 months with extensions

Interview: Tuesday or Wednesday @ 9AM, 10AM, 1PM OR 4PM  

 

Candidates in the Houston or Texas area are preferred

 

 

ORACLE DBA

 

Must-haves

-5-7 years of experience as an Oracle DBA
-4+ years of experience supporting Commercial ETRM systems (CXL, Zainet, Aligne, Right Angle, TriplePoint/ION, etc)
-Extensive performance tuning experience in regards to application needs
-Trade floor knowledge
-Experience with McAfee DAM (Database Activity Monitoring)
-Strong technical knowledge of database backup strategies, database partitioning, and implementation strategies

 

Plusses

-Knowledge of SQL Server
-Knowledge of Sybase
