Network Architect to provide guidance and assist account teams in building solutions to address specific customer needs. In this position, you will be working with technology experts in a number of areas in the Telecommunications industry, work with OEM vendors such as Cisco Systems, Juniper Networks, Alcatel-Lucent etc., to provide solutions to the leading Telecom Service Providers.  In this role you will help them by positioning the right solutions This job requires exceptional technical skills, sales skills, Related technical knowledge is crucial along with excellent communications is a key requirement. The job also requires continuous up gradation of skills. The right candidate must be willing to relocate to meet business requirements.

Operational responsibilities include the following:

1.      Support selected major account opportunities

2.      Provide specific solution to Customers

3.      Work on technology & product consulting to customers

4.      Support RFPs for major opportunities

5.      Understand business requirements for customer base and be able to translate them into technical requirements.

6.      Be able to articulate solutions to customers.

7.      Understand and articulate key technology and solutions of major OEM vendors such as Cisco's Architectures, Juniper Networks, Alcatel-Lucent etc.

8.      Create, present and document technical solutions.

9.      Perform in-depth and high-level technical presentations for customers

10.  Drive identified major account opportunities (i.e. technical consulting, upper level management presentations, and technology solutions) while allowing local account team to maintain long-term ownership.

11.  Provide consultative support and mentor other less experienced Engineers in assigned major account opportunities.

12.  Major account focus will require increased travel responsibilities.

 

The ideal candidate will be self-driven and have a good experience in the ISP, Wireline & Wireless Technologies in the Telecommunications in the area of network planning, design and implementation and troubleshooting. Industry with in depth knowledge in the areas of

 

·        Minimum 5 – 10 years' experience in Telecommunication industry.

·        IPv4 and IPv6 Network Deployment Experience, CG-NAT, 6RD, DS-Lite & other IPv6 transition mechanisms.

·        ISP, Layer 2 and Layer 3 Business VPN Networks.

·        IGP Routing protocols such as OSPFv2, OSPFv3, ISIS, ISIS Multi-topology EIGRP etc.

·        Multicast Routing Protocols such as PIM-SM, PIM-SSM, MSDP, PIM-BSR etc.

·        EGP Routing protocols such as BGP & Multiprotocol BGP.

·        MPLS Traffic Engineering, Link Protection, Node Protection, Path Protection, Auto Tunnels Mesh Solutions, Auto Tunnel Backup Tunnels, One Hop TE tunnels, DiffServ Aware Traffic Engineering RDM MAM models, LDP FRR, IP FRR etc.

·        Layer 2 Technologies such as Spanning Tree, Rapid Spanning Tree, Resilient Ethernet Protocol, VCCP etc., Mac in Mac ( PBB 802.1ah), (PB 802.1ad)

·        Carrier Ethernet Technologies and Architectures as driven of different vendors such as Cisco, Juniper and Alcatel.

·        Good knowledge of traditional service provider technologies.

 

Desirable:

Scripting knowledge: TCL/Tk, XML, Perl and Python will be an added advantage.

Soft Skills Requirements:

 

·        Ability to present topics in a clear and concise manner to many levels of technical skill sets for varying audience

·        Good Training skills.

·        Good presentation

·         Effective collaboration and teaming with multiple internal teams

Certifications: CCNA, CCNP, CCIP, CCDA/CCDP/CCDE or CCIE or any equivalent Juniper Certification
