Essential Requirements of the Position
Ø This position of Sr. IT Business Analyst ensures that Customer operations (Sales, Support, Marketing, Channel Partners etc.) business systems requirements are fully supported with the appropriate systems, tools, and processes. Ø It accomplishes this via rigorous process and data analysis, creation of business system requirements, effective project management in tandem with business and IT partners and successful implementation strategy and delivery. Ø It is also responsible to ensure process and system integration across the breadth of Global Services and Support functional activities.
RESPONSIBILITES:
Ø Drive key initiatives/projects to completion and ensure deliverables meet business needs. Ø Gather and track business and functional requirements, define project scope, write detailed functional specifications, provide impact assessments, identify gaps, evaluate change requests, capture and prioritize bugs. Ø Conduct effective project meetings; publish minutes, and track issues and actions to resolution. Ø Participate in end to end implementation planning to include project management, issue management, communication and change management Ø Reviewing QA and UAT test scripts. Managing UAT with end users including coordination and user acceptance signoff Ø Work closely with development team through software development methodology, including project assessment, planning, design, build, QA and implementation. Ø Provide on-going feedback and status of projects to IT and business areas, identifying any variances to plan and proposing solutions and alternatives for the variances
COMPENTENCIES
Ø Minimum of 5 years of recent IT Business Analyst experience Ø Must have experience with requirements gathering, documentation (business requirement, functional specification, as-is process, to-be process, gap analysis, user / training documentation etc.), hands-on detailed systems, data modeling, conducting end user training and implementation. Ø Experience working in Sales and Customer Support functional area will be preferred Ø Must have experience with Salesforce.com Sales and Service cloud implementation Ø Must have an in-depth understanding of business requirements and the underlying business processes Ø Exceptional communication skills, able to communicate effectively with both a technical audience and business users Ø Attention to detail, strong listening skills, and good verbal and written communications are required Ø Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently within established time lines. Ø Demonstrated ability to learn and embrace new and changing technologies, applications and solutions |
