Role: Business Analyst
Duration: 12 months
Location: NYC, NY
Max rate is $44/hr on c2c
SUMMARY OF THE FUNCTION/ROLE
The IT Governance unit is seeking one temporary consultant to perform cost benefit analysis; develop project schedule and project risk analysis for the agency specific applications projects. .
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform analysis of business processes, business and system requirements and system design for the development and configuration of software applications that support MTA business requirements
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings such as business process reviews, requirements, and various status reports
RISKS
- The consultant will be performing desk duties from 9am -5:30 pm at Two Broadway.
- The work will not involve areas with environmental risks (lead, asbestos) .

Documents detailing:
- Return of Investment
- Cost Benefit Analysis
- Risk Analysis
- Project Schedule
QUALIFICATIONS EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION
- Excellent oral, written, presentation, and communication skills
- Experience with Cost Benefit Analysis, budget experience a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office 2013 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency with Microsoft SharePoint version 2010 or higher
- Familiarity with Microsoft Project version 2010or higher
- Excellent inter-personal skills including the ability to work with individuals at all levels of the organization
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute in a high-pressure environment
- Ability to independently set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment; a self-starter
