Title: ATG Software Engineer
Location: Wayne, New Jersey
Duration: 6 Months
Join a new project to componentize one of the most famous and loaded eCommerce systems in the world, processing billions of events per day. Become a member of the core engineering team in a distributed development organization.
Responsibilities:
• Be a problem-solving expert.
• Participate system analysis and architecture building for the systems that are either built on top of ATG or communicate it.
• Work in coordination with local continuous integration team and distributed platform building team
• Build solutions for ATG decoupling, building, deploying.
• Develop utilities, extensions, interconnection adapters, stubs.
Required Skills and Experience:
• 3-year experience in software development
• Experience in development of complex engineering projects and delivering them into production
• Good knowledge and experience in Java and Oracle ATG
• Experience in Ant, Maven, version control systems, Unix/Linux systems (bash/ssh/ps/grep etc…)
• Responsibility, good attitude and communication skills
What Would Be a Plus:
• Degree in software engineering, computer science or mathematics.
• Experience working with relational databases (SQL, JDBC)
• Scripting languages.
• Understanding of agile software development methodologies
• Software architecture, designing, documenting skills
• Experience in networking
• Experience with various integration and deployment environments and tools (Jenkins, vCloud)
