| MOI : Telephonic followed by Skype Need USC/GC/EAD Only Description: Seeking a Functional Specialist to support the client's PeopleSoft Financials application, as well as its continued development and testing. The focus of the Functional Specialist will be the General Ledger and Commitment Controls modules and their interaction with the other modules. Support all facets of the client's ERP PeopleSoft Financials production application, as well as its continued development, testing, analysis, issue resolution, and integration with a primary focus on the General Ledger and Commitment Controls modules. Tasks include supporting the Finance staff directly and indirectly, reviewing requirements, providing design recommendations, configuring changes, testing delivered and custom functionality, analysis, and resolving issues; The Functional Specialist will also assist with other PeopleSoft modules and related applications, potentially including integration with Oracle's Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management Public Sector Budget and Planning solution; Assist with evaluating additional functionality and using current functionality in other ways to increase the benefits of the application for the House, especially for the Accounting and Budget Policy & Planning staff; Assist staff with year-end activities, monthly close, financial audit activities, monitoring, processing, troubleshooting, reporting, analyzing requests, extracting data, running reports, verifying information, providing documentation, reconciling PeopleSoft transaction activity, and configuring the PeopleSoft Financials application so that the House is following Federal accounting standards and reporting requirements as needed. Support the upgrade of the customer's ERP PeopleSoft Financials production application from the current 9.1, PeopleTools 8.54 version to 9.2 and PeopleTools 8.55; Assist with entry events and the interaction of the sub-modules feeding General Ledger; Required Skills/Experience: Comprehensive knowledge and experience working with the General Ledger and Commitment Control modules in PeopleSoft Financials with relevant experience in version 9.1 or 9.2; Knowledge and experience working with the flow of accounting transactions and overall interaction between General Ledger, Commitment Control, and other modules; Knowledge and experience working with at least some of the other modules the House is currently using: Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable/Billing, Asset Management, and Purchasing. Knowledge and experience with the following is a plus, but not required: Experience with PeopleSoft Financials version 9.2; Working with entry events and the interaction between General Ledger, Commitment Control, and the other modules; Integrating PeopleSoft with Oracle's Hyperion Enterprise Performance Management Public Sector Budget and Planning solution. |
