Job Title:                        Sr QA Engineer

Location:                        Charlotte, NC

Duration:                        6+ Months/Contract

Interview:Phone and Skype

Qualifications:

•             6+ years of experience with application performance testing, analysis and tuning

•             5+ years of experience with HP Load Runner and/or other modern load testing tools such as JMeter, Grinder

•             Self-motivated team player who can work in a fast paced, dynamic environment

•             Desire and ability to learn new skills

•             Strong troubleshooting and technical skills

•             Working knowledge of performance metrics gathering methodologies (PMI, Windows Performance Monitor, JConsole/JMX, DB2 admin views, APM tools)

•             BS in Computer Science; significant related experience may be considered in lieu of formal education

•             A minimum of 3 years' experience working with n-tier enterprise class applications

•             Working knowledge of multiple OS (AIX, Linux, Windows)

•             Working knowledge of multiple technologies (WebSphere, Apache, Tomcat, DB2, SQL Server, MySQL)

•             Ability to troubleshoot software/infrastructure configuration problems is a must

•             Experience with SQL query construction

•             Experience analyzing/reducing complex data sets

•             Experience installing, administering, and configuring complex applications and/or operating systems

•             Strong organization and coordination skills

•             Strong interpersonal, verbal and written skills

•             Must be able to rapidly deliver results and possess the ability to catch on quickly to new ideas and technologies

•             Experience with scripting languages (Unix, AIX, Windows shell scripts, PERL, Python) a plus

•             Ability to develop and test small programs in languages such as Java, C++, or .NET a plus

•             Experience with performance tuning a plus
