Mandatory Technical Skills-

Strong Knowledge of  /Experience in the following:
• Experience on Microservice architecture and Cloud Foundry
• Core Java skills, Design Patterns, Multithreading , Spring, Hibernate, web services – REST/SOAP, JMS, JPA, CXF
• Expert knowledge in Dependency injection and ORM frameworks.
• Distributed architectures, strong OO background, SOA, web services and messaging paradigms.
• Enterprise Java technology, Web Servers and Application Containers.
• Well versed in relational / non-relational data stores.
• Knowdge of AWS  Services.
• Experience on NSQL (MongoDB, Cassendra, Timeseries) and Asset Model - Desired
• Experience with Agile (Scrum) and test driven development and version control (SVN, git, etc.)

Desirable Technical Skills-

• Profiling and improving performance of Java applications from threading, memory management.
• Knowledge on Predix will be added advantage (Not mandatory but can be crucial)
• Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Experience with Big Data / Hadoop and NoSQL databases is a big plus
• Knowledge of or experience with running applications on Cloud Foundry
• Knowledge of or experience with building service brokers on Cloud Foundry
• Strong problem solving abilities and capable of articulating specific technical topics or assignments
• Demonstrates clarity of thinking to work through limited information and vague problem definitions
• Able to work under minimal supervision
• Knowledge on one of the scripting language - Python, Perl, PHP, and Ruby.

 

Mandatory Functional Skills-

Core Tasks may include
• Designing the technical configuration for a cloud based solution
• Creating technical solutions
• Assessment of customer systems
• Designing solution to facilitate cloud integration
• Detailed planning of process implementation
• Support or maintain project plan for technical work stream
• Advisor to customers throughout the engagement
• Active role for system optimization
