Position:- Sr. Automated QA Tester

Location:- Indianapolis, IN

Duration:- 12+ Months

MOI:- Telephonic + Skype

 

**Must HAVE: Automated Testing, Java or JavaScript testing, Object Oriented Testing, Agile Environment**

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Plan, design and enhance automation framework, utilities and tools that are effective, fast, robust, and maintainable using tools such as Selenium Web Driver, Jasmine, JUnit, Javascript, and Apex

·         Participate and contribute to product code reviews

·         Identify missing test cases and refine existing scripts for modularity and to enable automation

·         Participate in product and feature design with developers, usability specialists, user interface designers, and product managers

·         Estimate and prioritize work for optimal risk mitigation and identify risk based regression suites

·         Create test cases and scripts for new projects and features

·         Diagnose, track and manage quality issues to resolution

REQUIRED SKILLS:

·         Bachelor's Degree in CS / Engineering Discipline or equivalent work experience

·         3-5 years of experience in an OOP language, such as Java, C#, etc...

·         Passion for writing code with the "break it" mentality

·         Excellent communication and problem solving skills

·         Ability to handle multiple, complex technical projects

·         Ability to work in a fun, creative, and fast paced environment

·         Ability to learn and adapt quickly

·         Ability to motivate people, instill accountability and achieve results

PREFERRED SKILLS:

·         3-5 years of experience with quality engineering in a web based environment

·         Comfortable with both manual and automated testing

·         Programming experience with Java and/or Javascript

·         Excellent documentation skills for test scripts and automation scripts

·         Experience with Agile development methodology (e.g. Scrum)
