Detailed Job Description ETL Data Base Test Consultant with excellent knowledge in ETL Process along with experience in Informatica and Agile process
• 8+ years of experience tester with ETL Testing experience
• Excellent communication skills (Verbal and Writing)
• Effective Communication to show responsibility & accountability
• Experience in Agile methodology
• Experience in JIRA and HP ALM
• Well-versed with all stages of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC)
Experience in clinical domain is an added advantage
• Experience in SQL,ORACLE and PL/SQL scripting
• Knowledge and experience in Metadata and Star schema/Snowflake schema.
• Proficient enough to Analyzed Source Systems, Staging area, Fact and Dimension tables in Target D/W
• Experience in ETL Informatica mappings and other ETL Processes (Data Warehouse Testing)
• Experience in creating ETL test data
• The role will be accountable to validate and maintain the software quality
• This role will provide key inputs for validation during software development lifecycle (SDLC)
• Another key aspect of the role is the contribution to the continuous improvement of the function within the Scaled Agile Framework, and as such the role must be oriented towards team work in an emerging and flexible environment
• Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks with enthusiasm and prioritize workload with attention to detail
• Shows Initiative and self-confidence, is adaptable and is able to cope with changing and evolving priorities
• Must have the ability to work methodically in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
• Maintains an in-depth knowledge of specific specialism in the field, and provides expert advice regarding their application
• Reviews requirements and specifications, and defines test conditions
• Designs test cases and test scripts under own direction, mapping back to pre-determined criteria, recording and reporting outcomes
• Experience in preparing Test Strategy, developing Test Plan, Detailed Test Cases, writing Test Scripts by decomposing Business Requirements, and developing Test Scenarios to support quality deliverable
• Analyses and reports test activities and results
• Identifies and reports issues and risks associated with own work
• Offshore Onsite Co-ordination
• Experience working with offshore teams
• Exposure to HP UFT tool is an added advantage
• Work with Onsite and offshore team by adapting to needs of the project
