Hello;

 

Title – Release Engineer

Location: Emeryville, CA

Duration: 6+ Months

 

·         Deep understanding of version control systems (svn, Git, etc.), including branching and merging strategies

·         Experience with software build tools (Maven) and continuous integration tools (Jenkins)

·         Experience with Linux environments and scripting languages 

·         Experience working with cloud platforms (EC2, Rackspace Open Cloud, etc.) and cloud automation tools (Chef, Puppet)

·         Proven troubleshooting and performance tuning experience

·         Proficiency in various scripting languages such as bash, ruby, python and perl

·         Able to work with cross-functional teams (Dev, QA, Systems Engineering, etc)

·         Detail-oriented and can design, document, and enforce processes

·         Able to work in an environment at a fast pace and with changing priorities

·         Must have strong verbal and written communication skills and a willingness to learn
