Role:  Technical Lead- Cimplicity/Scada

Location: Albany, NY 

Job description:

•              Experience with products such as Proficy & Cimplicity HMI/SCADA products

•              Experience in requirement analysis and creating solutions that aligns with the business domain, enterprise concerns, industry standards

•              Cimplicity HMI/SCADA out-of-the-box configuration based on the customer requirements

•              Exposure to Industrial Automation, MES, SCADA & PLC

•              Required skills - GE Cimplicity/SCADA, IFIX, Proficy MES software

•              Cimplicity Screen development using .NET scripting, SQL knowledge

•              Exposure on Alarms/Events Management in Cimplicity

•              C#.NET, VB.NET, ASP.NET skills

•              Experience with architecting\implementing Cimplicity HMI/SCADA SQL databases, Web Services and SOA technologies

•              At least 6 years' experience and out of them at least 2 yrs as an architect\technical lead.

•              Excellent communication skills, a team player, with ability to energize

•              Proven ability to write clear, concise requirements, and design documents

•              Strong spoken and written English language skills

•              Ability to Travel up to 50% of the time

•              Responsible for assisting in all phases, including requirements gathering, detailed design, development and documentation.

•              Cimplicity HMI/SCADA GUI design & development using .NET C # Silverlight & WCF Services.

•              Configure Historian data into SQL Server .

•              Requires a good working knowledge and application of software development principles, implementation techniques and relative implementation costs.

•              Requires knowledge of MS .NET, WPF, WCF, SQL Server

•              Exposure to Historian, OSI PI, OPC Server, SCADA would be an advantage. This requirement is for Cimplicity Configuration Consultant to work on GE projects. GE BGC to be done appropriately.
