Position: Business Technical Analyst with Middleware API Experience

Location:  Oakbrook, IL

Duration: Long Term

 

This position will take responsibility for:

•              Partnering with stakeholders and other teams to elicit business requirements

•              Translating business requirements into functional requirements

•              Managing requirements throughout all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle

•              Validating that requirements are being met in technical designs and software deliveries

•              Serving as the subject matter expert for the functionality of the Middleware platform

•              Improving documentation practices and summarize detailed technical information into more contextual formats as well as develop API documentation that can be used across multiple teams.

 

Primary responsibilities include:

•              Understanding the value and interconnected nature of the various components necessary to deliver individual capabilities across systems and channels.

•              Understanding Middleware architecture in order to be able to quickly assess if an API change for a provider/subscriber impacts the Middleware API's.

•              Partnering with developers to schedule technical engineering meetings with other development teams to validate that requirements are being met

•              Eliciting, assessing, and authoring business/functional requirements

•              Creating and maintaining documentation pertaining to product features and work processes while adhering to established standards

•              Remaining current on Business Analysis practices, techniques, and tools

•              Following-up with internal clients about completed tasks to ensure client satisfaction

•              Translating technical information into business-focused, contextual deliverables

•              Flowcharting processes in logical diagrams
