Responsibilities
· Developing and testing workflow scheduler job scripts in Apache Oozie.
· Using various Hadoop ecosystem technologies such as Hive, Pig, Hbase and oozie for data storage, analysis, and job scheduling.
Qualifications:
· Has minimum of 2+ years of experience in Oozie. (development of job scheduling scripts, working with Workflow jobs, Oozie co-ordinators , Oozie bundles, Development of custom EL functions/Action types, oozie operations)
· Exposure to Hadoop Ecosystem components which include but are not limited to: Hive, Pig, SQOOP, HBase & HDF
· Knowledge of Java coding
· Familiarity with Podium environment is an added advantage
