RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead and develop APIs (RESTful) to integrate multiple software components
Directly and independently work with business partners and other tech teams. Independently make the decisions for the organization and the program
Lead other developers to develop high quality products
Design and implement application frameworks, APIs, libraries and services that perform at scale using existing and emerging technology platforms
Design and develop automation workflows, performing unit tests and conducting reviews to make sure the work is rigorously designed, elegantly coded, and effectively tuned for platform performance, and assessing the overall quality of delivered components
Strong verbal and written communication skills are necessary due to the dynamic nature of collaborations with customers, vendors, and other engineering team, solving complex business problems together - We're looking for self-starters, those who can work independently, with and across teams.
About the candidate:
Understands the importance of selecting the right technology tool for the task
Knows what continuous integration means. Knows how to script and automate anything and everything, from tests to environment provisioning
A natural problem solver with a curiosity about technology. Highly creative and curious technologist, one with excellent research skills
Not intimated by challenges, candidate will be expected to research and develop cutting-edge technologies
Love learning new technologies and mentoring more junior engineers
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Java
Spring Framework
RESTful API Development
AngularJS
Master's Degree in STEM preferred - 10+ years' experience with OOP concepts
7 years' experience with development and management of Java web services (SOAP/RESTful)
At least 8 years of development experience in Java J2EE technology, object oriented programming skills
At least 5 years of experience in developing REST and/or SOAP based Web Services
At least 3 years of experience Spring Framework
At least 3 years of experience developing on front end solutions like AngularJS
At least 3 years of experience Linux
At least 3 years of experience developing applications using Agile principles ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: - No flexibility in location.
Some flexibility in rate for highly qualified candidates.
