Job Description


- Excellent understanding of Java/JEE architecture - different layers and tiers of architecture, along with how a request - response flows end-to-end, through various gateways/servers, starting from client - back to client.
- WebServices architecture - SOAP and REST, and when to use which
- Design and coding best-practices - what to look for in the code, to check for a well-designed application?
- Be able to provide the best practices and coding standards on State, Session and Cache management. Should be able to look in the application code and provide assessment / review of the same.
- Well Familiar with using tools/plug-in for static code analysis and interpreting the output
- Well familiar with hosting architecture, including clustering and high-availability
- Knowledge of at least one application profiling tool - be able to capture and analyze heap-dump, GC logs and other JVM properties
- Knowledge of Loadrunner and Introscope is required
