Job Description

·         Looking for a highly self-motivated Mid-Level Software Engineer developing web based applications in financial domain.

·         The position involves design, development and maintenance of financial applications.

·         The ideal candidate must be strong and have advanced skills in both Java and Oracle. 

·         The candidate must have proven communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

 

Job Responsibilities:

•                     Design, Develop and maintain Back office functionalities.

•                     Work with Principal Engineers to understand the requirement, design and strategy.

•                     Work on existing framework with Java, Oracle and XML.

•                     Work with QA to fix any bugs in the system.

 

Job Requirement

•                     Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering.

•                     5+ years of Development using Java and SQL.   Must be strong in Java and Oracle including PL/SQL skills

•                     Experience in J2EE web development will be a plus.

•                     Good OOA/OOD skills.

•                     Through understanding of Design Patterns and applying them to OO development.

•                     Hands-on experience with Java, Oracle and XML.

•                     Financial Services experience is preferred.

•                     Linux environment experience is preferred
