Position – Hadoop Java developer
Location: Eden Prairie, MN
Duration: 6+ months
Responsibilities:
Primary Responsibilities:
• In this role, you will work in support of the development of company products, tools, platforms and services.
• Operate within established methodologies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Apply knowledge of principles and techniques to solve technical problems.
• Work closely with other functions to understand customer needs and to develop
• Perform all phases of software engineering including requirements analysis, application design, code development and testing
• Design and implement product features in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders
• Design reusable components, frameworks and libraries
• Work very closely with architecture groups and drive solutions
• Participate in an Agile/Scrum methodology to deliver high-quality software releases every 2 weeks through Sprints
• Design and develop innovative solutions to meet the needs of the business
• Review code and provide feedback relative to best practices and improving performance
• Troubleshoot production support issues post-deployment and come up with solutions as required
• Mentor and guide other software engineers within the team
Qualifications

Required Qualifications:
• 8+ years of full-lifecycle development experience with CORE JAVA
• 5+ years of JSP
• 5+ years of experience in Big Data technology (eg: Core MAP Reduce, Cascading and if possible Hive and Pig, HBASE, Cascading Driven )
• 5+ years of experience in webserver JBOSS
• 5+ years of relational database modeling and design experience mainly Oracle/MY SQL /SQL
• 8+ years of experience with JUnit and test-driven development
• 3+ years of recent experience with SOAP and RESTful web service architecture and development
• 3+ years of experience with architectural design tools such as Enterprise Architect
• 3+ years of experience with the SDLC process and ability to design solutions with Class, State and Sequence diagrams
• Bachelor's degree
• Excellent Communications
• Health Care of Payer and provider experience is required (AHM - Academy for health care management certification I a plus)
• Extensive experience in Agile (Certified SCM is a Plus)
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in Continuous integration tools such as Tortoise SVN , AHP, Jenkins
• Experience in CODE Quality tools SONAR QUBE , Web inspect , Fortify
• Lead experience managing resources is a plus
