·          8+ Years of  IT and project management experience, including multiple Agile roles (product owner, scrum master, etc.), scaling Agile and transferring Agile knowledge

·          Agile Coach, Scrum Master

 

Job Description:

Position Summary:

·          The Agile Coach will lead the organization through a transition to an Agile development process by also serving as the Scrum Master for the organization's first Agile project. The position will interface with cross functional team members to coach them to adopt Agile methods and mindsets. The coach will establish and maintain team norms. The coach will assess and assist overcoming organizational impediments in the team's unique environment.

·          Values and Behavioral Standards: To ensure the effective communication and application of company values and behavioral standards, as stated in our company "Code of Conduct" policy, and to respond appropriately in the event of any known departure. The candidate must work well as a part of a group and be willing to share technical knowledge with his or her peers.

 

Major Job Accountabilities:

·          Establish an Agile Practice

·          Coach the organization through transition to Agile

·          Serve as the go-to expert on Agile methodology

·          Challenge team members to use a disciplined Agile approach for developing quality software

·          Identify and attack organizational impediments which limit team productivity and quality

·          Foster teamwork and adherence to norms

·          Gauge team performance and identify improvements

·          Identify/assess levers to accelerate team's transformation

·          Organize and facilitate project planning, daily stand-up meetings, reviews, retrospectives, sprint and release planning, and other Scrum-related meetings

·          Track and communicate team metrics and sprint/release progress to management

·          Make decisions and set priorities consistent with the long-term interest of the projects

 

Qualifications:

·          Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience

·          Eight years of IT and project management experience, including multiple Agile roles (product owner, scrum master, etc.), scaling Agile and transferring Agile knowledge

·          Agile designations preferred

·          Exceptional knowledge of all aspects of Agile concepts

·          Experience with Agile-related programming techniques preferred

·          Good knowledge of software development lifecycle concepts and procedures

·          Strong interpersonal skills and teaching abilities

·          Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills

·          Proven organizational, leadership, problem-solving and analytical abilities

·          Excellent attention to detail and commitment to product quality
