Position: Information Security Engineer

Location: Manassas VA

Duration : 6 months+

 

 

 

Must Have

Must have 10-12 years experience and a CISSP

 

·                  Strong Unix/Linux Server Security: Knowledge of available controls and Hardening systems in compliance with standards – knowledge of controls such as CIS benchmarks

·                  Knowledge of Host-based security tools in Unix environment (e.g. HIDS, FIM for Unix)

·                  Docker or Ansible

·                  IDS

·                  Web-app security

·                  Knowledge of SSL/PKI

·                  Knowledge of LDAP & Kerberos based authentication at Unix and App level,  federated authentication methods such as SAML, Multi-Factor-Auth technologies

·                  Fundamentals of NW Security

·                  Compliance and Risk assessment experience

Desirable

·                  Database hardening best practices

·                  Specific experience in securing large scale infrastructure automation is a plus (e.g Ansible Tower, Cloudforms, SDN infrastructure such as OpenStack)

·                  Experience with SE-Linux is a plus.
