Job Title:                            Senior ETL DataStage Developer 

Location:                             Jersey City, NJ

Duration:                             6+ Months/Contract

The ideal candidate:

• Must have very good understanding and expertise to design, develop and deliver ETL and Data Integration solutions using IBM DataStage working on all stages of SDLC. 
• Must have strong ETL implementation experience in insurance Domain and have very good understanding of ETL concepts. Should be able to work with Architects, understand the requirements and design new ETL solution .
• Must be able to participate in technical discussions to improve existing processes and applications by understanding existing ETL jobs, and make changes as per new requirements. 
• Should have strong hands-on experience working in IBM DataStage 8 and above. 
• Should have strong PL/SQL development experience working on DB2 and Oracle. 
• Should have working knowledge in UNIX scripting for tasks such as file validations, file archive, SFTP commands (along with RSA keys setup) etc. 
• Should be able to work with DBAs, application specialists and technical services to help tune ETL system performance to meet performance standards. 
• Should be able to work closely with support teams for code migrations following all SDLC standard processes. 
• Must have good exposure to Master Data Management / Reference Data Management programs. 
• Must have worked on ETL-MDM/RDM Integration programs with experience in working with real time stages (XML, MQ) 
• Work experience in scheduling tool preferably Autosys. Should be good at configuring and writing JIL scripts for scheduling. 
• Excellent communication skills and strong ability to co-ordinate with other business teams and interfaces on requirements, clarifications, status etc.
