Job Responsibilities: 

The Mortgage Technology Team is searching for an Agile Java Developer.   Responsibilities for the position includes developing and maintaining multiple Java Web applications including the call center applications and the public facing web application. As an Agile Java Developer,  you will be involved in all stages of the project lifecycle from requirements, to development, to implementation in production environments. This position is very hands-on and requires a strong ability to adapt to challenging problems and an intense desire to work as part of a cohesive team. All team members are expected to keep abreast of the latest industry trends, technologies, and frameworks and to display industry competitive skills and techniques.  Major Responsibilities:. • Planning/Business Strategy o Partnering with the business on strategic initiatives. o Partnering with peers and collaborating with other technical leaders in the firm, within and outside of MBIT o Align team goals with those of Mortgage Banking  IT & Business. • Execution o Looking for opportunities to innovate, gain efficiencies and evolve towards target state. o Development and Implementation of both project based and business as usual requests. o Issue management including research and resolution. • 5+ years work experience, in high tech or financial industry • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent work experience • Excellent technical and analytical skills combined with experience with multiple technologies and design techniques • Strong oral and written communications skills with the ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels within the organization • Proven track record of taking initiative and delivering results • Knowledgeable and comfortable working in an Agile Environment • Experience working within large technology environments • Knowledge and experience with Spring Framework
