Position: Oracle DBA

Position Type: Right to hire

Location:  SAN ANTONIO, TX

Responsibilities:
To be considered for this position, applicants need to meet the qualifications listed in this posting. 
Required Qualifications: 
Minimum of 2 years of experience required administering Exadata platform. 
5 years of Oracle database administration experience with Oracle RDBMS, including performance tuning and monitoring, SQL, and PL/SQL 5 
5 years LINUX experience with the knowledge and ability to perform in all of the basic UNIX management skills of the OS and the Storage Layer. 
1 years of experience with Oracle Optimizer, including optimizer parameters, parsing mechanism and how optimizer influences in controlling, stabilizing execution plans 
Willingness and ability to provide 24x7 production support as necessary 

Preferred Qualifications: 
Health care industry experience 
Strong communications skills and collaborative work style 
Strong ASM/RMAN experience 
Accomplished in handling performance benchmarking and configuration, of in-memory database tuning and troubleshooting other middleware issues
