(Juniper WAN [P/PE Node] Expansion)

 

 

Roles and Responsibilities

 

As the Juniper Subject Matter Expert (SME) you will be working with Juniper M, MX, and SRX series hardware to perform the following tasks to support Dell's customer WAN and data center expansion efforts during the initial 6 months of the program. These tasks include, but not limited to:

• Onsite Hardware upgrades
• Onsite Software upgrades
• Onsite & remote building and applying configurations as prescribed by Dell's customer
• Writing and updating documentation for:
• Hardware upgrade procedures
• Software upgrade procedures
• "As-Built" documentation
• Cabling
• IP Addressing
• Routing
• Test Plans for failover analysis
• Test plan execution, analysis, and documentation

After the data center expansion portion of the Dell program has been completed, you will transition to a support role as part of larger Dell team during application and customer 3^rd party circuit migration efforts. You will act as the first line of defense for a broader Dell team that is performing the application and 3^rd Party circuit migrations to help troubleshoot and resolve complex routing, switching, and firewall issues that may arise during these migration efforts.

Technologies you will work with are, but not limited to:

• MPLS, L3 VPN's, VRF, BGP, OSPF, IS-IS, Firewalls, F5 & Citrix Load Balancers, DNS services, InfoBlox
•  

Qualifications:           

 

Minimum Certification Required: JNCIP (SP, ENT, M&T)

 

Expected Travel Requirements:

 

• First 90 days: Less than 25%
• Second 90 days: Approximately 75%
• Afterwards, role is expected to be 100% remote, unless otherwise required by overall program.
