Our financial client in Boston is looking to hire a project manager for a 6 month contract. This person must have strong experience integrating systems within asset management, ideally trading systems.

 

This person will manage Equity Integration projects, which will be highly complex projects focused on integrating the Vendor Equity Trading platform with their internal trade support application set.

Our client is looking for a senior project manager for the End-to-End Trading program. This will include configuring a vendor platform and integration with existing internal systems. Must have Asset Mgt. exp

Skills: MS Project, MS Powerpoint, general understanding of technology, experienced in working with technical teams on project implementations. There are no specific technologies per se, more so focused on strong PM skills and experience in working on complex technology projects

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

·         Further the business goals through the direct management and execution of best-in-class projects/solutions.

·         Build strong relationships with business divisions and departments globally; represent, champion and further the goals and opportunities of teams in support of assigned initiatives.

·         Display, or actively gather, a detailed understanding for the business needs and objectives and related internal clients globally based on project.

·         Provide project management, prioritization, direction, and leadership to team members in order to accomplish defined project deliverables.

·         Develop project scope, budgets, project plans and communication plans

·         Manage and monitor all project deliverables to successful completion, leverage EPMO best practices and complete project artifacts as appropriate.

·         Actively create and manage project work plans, issues, risks, and key decisions.

·         JOB REQUIREMENTS:

·         Project management experience within the asset management and strong on project execution.

·         Practical experience leading projects through all phases of delivery

·         Previous member of an Enterprise or Project Management Office preferred

·         Financial skills to manage project's operating and capital budgets.

·         Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
