Security Engineer – McAfee DLP
Position Description
The Sr. Security Engineer is responsible for deploying, configuring and implementing, the McAfee DLP solutions to detect IT security incidents. The Sr. Security Engineer will function as an integral member of security production support team by taking requirements from engineering team and security monitoring team to manage and operate the above solutions.
Position Responsibilities
· Install/upgrade the solution components
· Develop the specific content necessary to meet the organization's security operations goals, to include: the formation of content-specific queries, templates, reports, rules, alerts, dashboards, and workflows
· Define and deploy the DLP policies for both endpoint and gateway DLP solutions.
· Configure McAfee Vulnerability Management solution including defining scanning policies, asset groups,
· Troubleshoot issues related to policy configuration, anti-virus signature update, policy update,
· Analyze and resolve complex technical issues related to platform functioning, availability and setup .
Required Experience
· 5-8 years working within the information security field, with emphasis on security operations, endpoint and host security solutions and security event analysis
· 3+ years working with DLP and Host Security solutions, specifically McAfee.
· In-depth understanding of configuration options and various architectures of these solutions.
· Experienced with DLP solutions like McAfee, websense
· Should have worked on protecting data in motion, data in use and data at rest
· Experience with validation of DLP solution by testing policies and rules for various platforms (MUST HAVE)
· Should be able to troubleshoot day to day user issues around DLP solution
· Should be able be provide necessary support to the end, help desk and administrators
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
