Role:  Sr.Sap basis Consultant

Location: Raritan,NJ

Duration: 6+Months

Job Responsibilities

• Task to be executed by Candidate:
  
• The Sr. Sap Basis Administrator is responsible for landscape architecture and the execution of SAP Basis Administration activities
  
• Particular position will also require ample focus on exploring the possibilities of the cloud for SAP systems,
  
• driving the migration efforts from on-premise to a cloud based platform,
  
• DR setup and testing on virtual environment
  

Mandatory Skill

Knowledge of Sap enterprise-level applications and cloud technology trends

Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies

Strong customer service orientation

Sap Basis Architecture and SDDC (Virtual) &  technical disaster recovery simulations (DR design expert)

This is a hands-on position with a global scope, and the ownership of regular basis administration tasks including but not limited to the following:

Software release management, installation, version upgrade, Support packages and patches

Database management. Performance tuning, capacity management

Proactive system performance tuning and monitoring.

Adhere to change controls; familiarize with process, procedures,

Landscape and instance management. Problem determination and resolution, 3rd level support incident management. Client and System refresh.

Knowledge of enterprise-level applications and cloud technology trends

Strong knowledge of system and software quality assurance best practices and methodologies

Strong customer service orientation

Required Experience

Extensive experience of Sap basis Administration activity

Sap Implementation experience 

OSDB Migration (physical, Virtual)

Sap System upgrade (ECC, BW, SCM, APO, Portal)

Server sizing and infrastructure design
