Position: Linux System Admin With Puppet
Duration: 12+ Months
Location: Oaks, PA
Rate: DOE
NOTE; NO OPTs and Transfer Required Visa COPY
Job Description:
Extensive experience with Linux servers in virtualized and physical environments
Troubleshoot system and infrastructure related incidents Patching, backups, and day-to-day system administration
Configuration and deployment of new servers
Perform system-monitoring tasks using Nagios (Nagios required).
Strong grasp on configuration management tools, such as Puppet, Chef (Puppet Preferred)
Experience installing, configuring, and maintaining Middleware services such as Apache, WebLogic, LDAP, BOXI, Informatica etc.
Skilled in implementing high availability, fault tolerant strategies, and load balancing
Ability to dive into new products and technologies, develop subject matter expertise and drive projects to completion.
A team player with good written and verbal communication skills that can mentor other members in the production support group.
Work with the Information Security, Compliance, and Business Continuity teams to ensure systems are hardened and in compliance with the Corporate and Regulatory guidelines.
Work independently and collaboratively with other support organizations to troubleshoot system and application issues.
Disaster Recovery experience is a plus
