JOB DESCRIPTION:-

Location: Tampa , FL
Duration: 1 month
 
Background: Client is currently running their in-house payroll process on PeopleSoft 9.1 Payroll for North America for approximately 3800 full time US based employees. The payroll process has been in steady state for 4+ years since implementation. As part of an operational efficiency and risk reduction initiative, the Finance group would like to take a fresh look at the end to end payroll process to identify improvements in those areas.
 
Job Description:
 

·         Analyze the current state of PeopleSoft 9.1 Payroll for North America process to identify opportunities for increased efficiencies from a overall time to execute and risk and error reduction.
 

·         The Payroll expert will spend approximately 4-6 weeks reviewing the current process documents, observing the payroll execution and interviewing the payroll operational and IT support staff to understand the current process. The process should be analyzed for inefficiencies and deviations from best practice identified.
 

·         The deliverable of the analysis would be a documented inventory of current gaps in best practices and list out specific and targeted recommendations for improvements in process and risk reduction that can be implemented in a short time frame so Client can realize a quick return on investment.  along with a cost to cure. 
 

·         The recommendations should align with the PeopleSoft 9.1 version through existing functionality or enhancements.  Migration to another version is not an available option for Client.
