Essential Function
Responsibilities include operating, developing, maintaining, tuning and enhancing the Hyperion DRM application to ensure a stable, optimized master data management system. Drives the ongoing design and implementation of Hyperion as it applies to Data Relationship Manager platform. Works with functional teams, peers & vendors to seamlessly integrate assigned deliverables into strategic outcomes for the businesses
Key Accountabilities
Partner with finance leaders, business integration leads and IT PMs to architect, design, develop and support the Hyperion system to manage the new Enterprise chart of accounts and monthly operations.
Will be working alongside other architects and leaders on the Corporate Hyperion team (ARM, HFM, Planning, Essbase, etc.)
Provide leadership and guide the team throughout the systems development lifecycle to ensure quality, IT SDLC, and compliance requirements are met
Drive requirements gathering activities managing expectations with functional customers (i.e. balancing their needs with wants and educate as appropriate)
Translate high-level business requirements into detailed functional specifications
Lead all testing activities and resources prior to user acceptance testing ensuring quality and requirements are met
Ensure compliance to system architecture, methods, standards, practices and participate in their creation
Develop peer, cross-functional and cross-business relationships to maximize best practice sharing and team effectiveness
Keep abreast with the new tools and technologies as well as other advancements made in the EPM and BI spaces including pre-packaged applications
Provides technical thought leadership on Data architecture, design, and modeling for archiving and analytics applications within the Finance IT domain
Define and implement standards and best practices for data ingestion and integration
Provide technical expertise on data life cycle, metadata management, process improvement, data governance and quality to provide consistent enterprise quality data
Drive initiatives to understand cost structure, infrastructure footprints, and reduce cost and obsolescence
Have the ability and desire to work in a cross functional team environment, understand team goals and generate appropriate, innovative analytical insights to drive winning results and overall process improvement
Identify data integrity problems and work with the support teams to correct issues
Able to communicate to both highly technical and non-technical stakeholders effectively

Skills
Strong knowledge of financial systems, financial cycles and processes
Experience with complex, multi-tiered Hyperion deployments
Experience with complex, global system implementations
Well versed in Oracle/Hyperion toolsets (HFM, Planning, Essbase, Smart View, etc.)
Knowledge of other Financial Systems (I.e. Oracle Financials, SAP, OBIEE, ODI, ERPi etc.)
Proven experience in onshore and offshore team management
Excellent influencing, interpersonal and communications skills (both written and verbal) with all levels of an organization
Self-starter; requires minimal direction to accomplish goals
Strong track record of understanding and interest in current and emerging technologies demonstrated through training, job experience and/or industry activities.
Strong team player - collaborates well with others to solve problems and actively incorporates input from various sources; has experience working with others on a global basis; applies knowledge to coach and mentor others
Demonstrated customer focus - evaluates decisions through the eyes of the customer; builds strong customer relationships; creates processes with customer viewpoint; partners with customers to help shape their future initiatives
Strong analytical and strong problem solving skills - communicates in a clear and succinct manner and effectively evaluates information/data to make decisions; anticipates obstacles and develops plans to resolve; creates actionable strategies and operational plans
Minimum 9--10 Work Experience
Minimum 5 years of Hyperion System 9 and/or 11 level experience
Minimum 7 years of Hyperion DRM Experience
Minimum 5 years working with system analysis, design and modeling
