Excellent knowledge on Security features and concepts on Cloud Platform like AWS & Azure
· Excellent knowledge in designing security around open source platforms
· Enhances security team accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answering technical and procedural questions for less experienced team members; teaching improved processes; mentoring team members.
· Determines security requirements by evaluating business strategies and requirements; researching information security standards; conducting system security and vulnerability analyses and risk assessments; studying architecture/platform; identifying integration issues; preparing cost estimates.
· Plans security systems by evaluating network and security technologies; developing requirements for local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), virtual private networks (VPNs), routers, firewalls, and related security and network devices; designs public key infrastructures (PKIs), including use of certification authorities (CAs) and digital signatures as well as hardware and software; adhering to industry standards.
· Implements security systems by specifying intrusion detection methodologies and equipment; directing equipment and software installation and calibration; preparing preventive and reactive measures; creating, transmitting, and maintaining keys; providing technical support; completing documentation.
· Verifies security systems by developing and implementing test scripts.
· Upgrades security systems by monitoring security environment; identifying security gaps; evaluating and implementing enhancements.
· Prepares system security reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
· Updates job knowledge by tracking and understanding emerging security practices and standards; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Responsibilities
Acts as expert for infrastructure teams in the plan, design, and delivery of IT solutions. • Advises teams of IT technology standard requirements, methodology and processes. • Drives short & long term architecture strategy for the overall IT project portfolio for key business segments. • Participates in proof of concepts to assist in defining technology direction and enabling business strategy. • Communicates and validates program architecture with infrastructure team, project management team, and technology services management team. • Conducts end-to-end technical plan design. • Develops long-term strategy for historical data retention and archival plan for storage needs. • Defines data retention, backup, and recovery methods and plans. • Develops enterprise standards to ensure compatibility and integration of multi-vendor platforms. • Design and develop infrastructure blueprints for the implementation of new solutions. • Responsible for impact analysis and design modifications to existing systems to support new solutions. • Develops specifications for interfaces from existing to new systems (including cloud based environments)
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Ø Must have a thorough knowledge of the Windows concepts, Domains, Active Directory and its concepts, and the interaction between hardware, operating systems, network, data center, and application software, Ø Strong working knowledge of VMware or other virtual software. Ø Deep understanding of TCP, IP and other network protocols. Familiarity with DNS, DHCP and other network services. Ø Knowledge of storage and backup technologies Ø Knowledge of Cisco network and voice gears and technologies, Knowledge of managing a data center in terms of systems monitoring, capacity planning and performance tuning Ø Knowledge of Cloud Architectures and Integration platforms Ø Oracle Database architecture level knowledge Ø perl scripting knowledge will be an advantage
