Job Title  :  BigData Application Engineers

Location: Palo Alto, CA

Duration: 12 + Months

 

Responsibility:

•             Architect and Build Applications on RESTful/SOAP eco systems

•             Hands on contribution to biz logic using Java/scala

•             Evaluate, recommend and build NoSQL, SQL and InMemory platform(s)

 

Desired Skills and Experience

•             Hands on experience (coding) in developing solutions on Java/Scala with experience on any RESTful framework like Jersey, Spring, Play/Scala

•             Expert programmer in Java/scaka

•             Understanding the internet technologies and protocols

•             Experience working with NoSQL Databases like HBase, Cassandra, Couchbase.

•             Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems

or related field.

•             Experience building and managing complex products/solutions.

•             Experience working in Linux/Unix environment.

 

Nice to Have:

•             Experience in Hadoop envs

•             Most importantly be a good team player and willingness to learn and implement new Big Data technologies as needed
