Location: MAPLEWOOD, MN

12+ Months Contract

Job Description: Android Developer Android Developer with minimum of two years' experience developing native Android applications.  Implement new features as defined by requirements.  Work as an active team member by engaging in decision making, providing input and helping to improve the overall application.  May prototype, refine, test and debug programs as well as provide technical documentation regarding implementation. 

 

Additional  Responsibilities:

Collaborate daily with the development team (developers, designers, testers, project leads) Provide effective communication regarding issues, objectives, initiatives and performance Adhere to and support development standards in place within the development team

 

Basic Qualifications:

BS Degree in CS, EE or related field

Knowledge of software development tools (Eclipse, Android Studio, etc.), processes & technologies.

Minimum 5 years' experience with full Software Development Life Cycle (requirements through implementation) Experience developing Android applications.

Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills Detailed-oriented Ability to take individual initiative and accountability for assignments

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with Android NDK

Experience with Android serial communications Experience with Data Models and SQL.

Experience with Web Services

Experience with User Interface Design principles.

Experience with Android app certification processes.

Experience with data security and privacy.

Medical Device Software Development Experience Familiarity with applicable standards (IEC 62304, IEC 62366, etc) Strong conceptual, analytical, and logic skills.

Ability to work well with diverse teams both technical and non-technical in nature.
