This is our direct-client opening for a UI Developer located in Foster City, CA. This is a 3+ month project with a high chance of extension.
The client is mainly looking for candidates who are within a commutable distance since they will want to do a F2F person before they hire the contractor.
They're looking for a candidate with a huge passion for Web development.
Do you have the JavaScript skills and knowledge to leverage jQuery and other libraries to develop truly engaging websites that are also lightning fast?
Can you influence design decisions and work cross functionally with designers, QA teams, and backend product development teams?
Responsibilities:
Design, implement and unit test Web Application code
Work with a variety of internal business stakeholders to understand and implement complex business functionality
Deliver project assignments on time, within budget and with high quality
Stay current with the newest online technologies; research new technologies and make recommendations on implementations
Work with the Lead to review technical specifications as required, meeting the objectives of functional specifications. Specifically,
identifying specific interfaces, methods, parameters, procedures or functions as required
Collaborate with Architects and other Software Engineering resources in designing and implementing integrated, enterprise solutions
Qualifications:
Solid hands on experience building sites, apps and widgets using JavaScript, jQuery, HTML5, CSS3
Experience in any JavaScript unit testing/debugging frameworks (chrome/firefox developer tools, Jasmine, Mocha, etc) useful
Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks like Backbone useful, but not required
