Job Description

 

Role:- Data migration/Center Consultant

Location:- Woonsocket RI

Duration – 1 year +

 Job Duties

·         Lead the planning and execution of Data Center migration activities

·         The candidate will work with multiple operations teams (Facilities, Servers, storage, database, network and applications) to effectively plan, execute, and manage the data center relocation

·         Ensure the migration is executed in a manner that avoids all unplanned business impacts and minimizes down time

·         Prepare and deliver regular status reports and briefings to executive management

 Qualifications

·         Candidate must have demonstrated success leading the migration/consolidation of data centers within a Fortune 100 environment:

o   Multi-vendor Data Center

o   Multiple functional areas: application, storage, database, middleware, servers, network, facilities

·         Outstanding written and verbal communication skills

·         Rhode Island/Boston-area placement is preferred
