Job description*
client is looking for assistance with a SolarWinds deployment project. We are looking for skills and experience in event management in general and SolarWinds in particular. Currently, the platform is built and in-place. This engagement will focus on investigating, documenting and migrating Network equipment, Linux, Solaris and Windows Servers to SolarWinds from existing monitoring platforms. Knowledge and experience developing SolarWinds monitors and alerts is crucial along with the ability to document the environment and turnover the platform to Hershey staff.
Required Experience
Demonstrated experience installing, configuring and tuning the SolarWinds platform.
Demonstrated experience creating, deploying and tuning monitors, alerts, views along with node management within the SolarWinds platform.
Strong understanding of and demonstrated experienced with SNMP for Unix Servers and WMI for Windows Servers.
Required Skills
Ability to work with technical teams of System and Network Administrators.
SolarWinds installation, tuning and administration skills
Ability to document technical details and communicate clearly
Solid understanding of server and networking technologies
