Job Title: Security - Firewall Consultant
Duration: 1+Years contract
Location: Albany, NY
 
Job Description
This position will enable the individual to work closely with the organization's Information Security Officer. 
Good possibility of extension beyond initial contract duration.

 

Background in networking.
Security and firewall experience (Cisco, Checkpoint, Juniper) is required.
Position will start in mid-late August. 

 

Administration:
Firewalls (Cisco, Checkpoint, Juniper or others)
Cisco or Checkpoint Web content filter
Email spam filter
Asset discovery on LAN
Log Analysis

 

Short Term Admin Projects:
Upgrade NYC firewall- remote
Fix licensing on all checkpoint appliances
Upgrade/replace web content filter

 

Degree Requirements:
Associates with 3 years' experience with firewalls/security OR
Bachelors with 1 year experience with firewalls/security
