Role: Java Developer with Solr Experience
Location: Washington D.C
Duration: 6 Months +
Job Description:
1. Good in Java (7+ years of experience should be fine as java is currently used by me to program another tool)
2. Knowledge of Solr search engine (this is where I work on a day to day basis . Java helps me to program Solr more efficiently).
3. Use of Nutch to crawl is an added advantage but if a person knows Solr s/he can pick this up.
4. Knowledge of web services
5. Good communication skills
6. Client management skills
7. Work in onsite and offshore model. Managing and Co-ordination with offshore for deliverables
8. Status Reporting
