Position : Technical Product Owner & Tech Analyst with Scrum & Software Development
Location : Sunnyvale, CA
Duration : 6+ Months
The TPO will have extensive experience mapping business requirements to technical specifications, developing Functional Specifications and writing User Stories consistent with Agile Scrum standards. To be successful, they will need to have outstanding communication skills & quickly be able to take complex requirements from a range of stakeholders and distill them into a prioritized list of deliverable stories. They will produce excellent documentation and have the confidence to challenge assumptions and direction from business stakeholders when their needs are not technically achievable.
In this role, they will be working closely with a DAM Product Manager from the Online Store business team, a Tech Lead and one or more Scrum Masters from Engineering to develop and manage product backlogs that will be used by Scrum Teams to build high-quality DAM system improvements, production workflows and DAM system integration points that delight our customers and stakeholders. They will have an understanding of video and photographic image management technical needs in addition to understanding and advocating for the end users perspective.
The ideal candidate must have excellent technical analysis and user story writing skills, and be able to operate in a complex environment with rapidly changing priorities.
· 5+ years experience of technical and functional analysis in large scale global DAM systems.
· 3+ years experience of working with Scrum development.
· Certified Product Owner, Scrum Master or similar qualification in product ownership or analysis.
· Excellent written and presentation skills - able to communicate effectively with engineers and business stakeholders.
· Good knowledge of Internet-based application development and software development & testing approaches and project lifecycle.
· CAPM, PMP or Prince2 certification desirable.
