Position:  Sr. Java Developer with the Groovy / Grails experience.

Location: Philadelphia, PA

Duration: 3-5 Months

 

Description:

To be responsible for managing technology in projects and providing technical guidance / solutions for work completion

(1.) To be responsible for providing technical guidance / solutions

(2.) To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity

(3.) TO ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review.

(4.) To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.

 

Additional requirement

·         3-5 years professional experience developing core Java / JEE in Eclipse or an Eclipse-like IDE (mandatory)

·         some professional experience with the Groovy / Grails framework (mandatory)

·         ability to operate within both Windows and Linux (mandatory)

·         some experience accessing data within MYSQL or any SQL database (very nice to have)

·         some experience with JSON formats and RESTful services (nice to have)

·         some experience developing within a SOA / ESB environment (nice to have)

·         some familiarity with ElasticSearch and/or Kibana (nice to have)

·         some experience with utilities such as Rally and SVN (nice to have)
