Job Title: Business Intelligence Systems Analyst (with SAP) **Not a developer**

Location: NYC - Downtown

Duration: 6 months+

 

Summary:

This Systems Analyst will work with the Business Intelligence Team on the SAP project. They will define logical data models, data mapping, system testing and training. This individual will apply their analytical expertise to the analysis, design, development, integration, and support of BI/DW solutions.

Responsibilities:

·           Collaborate with the SAP functional teams to define logical data models.

·           Complete data mapping documentation for ETL development.

·           Test data after it has been loaded in a SQL Server database.

·           System testing of data models in the Data warehouse

·           Analyze and document existing and future reports

·           Work with other Analysts to develop training material.

Qualifications:

·        5+ years of progressive experience in gathering Requirements, creating Functional Specifications, developing Test Cases and executing Systems Integration Testing.

·        Must be able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and react to problems quickly.

·        Must be able to translate concepts and directions into practical solutions.

·        Experience in reporting and business intelligence solutions is a plus.

·        Ability to demonstrate a strong customer service focus.

·        The ability to balance between data needs and requirements for action.

·        Strong verbal and written communications skills.

·        Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and the ability to solve complex problems required.

·        Retail experience preferred.

·        SAP knowledge preferred.

·        MicroStrategy experience preferred.

·        Bachelor's Degree Required.

·        Strong SQL skills

·        Strong documentation experience using MS Office.
