Role: Senior Application Security Engineer

Duration: 6 months to Hire

Location : Redwood City CA

 

Position Summary:

Our Bay Area client is looking for an Application Security Engineer to join their growing team. You will be working in an internal lab used by clients and vendors. This role will be heavily focused on executing penetration testingof products and services. In this position you will be responsible for conducting security testing on Hardware and Software, planning and performing security assessments and penetration efforts, and creating security tools based on test findings.

 

Position Qualifications:

• Strong coding and scripting background, specifically source code analysis, with languages such as Python, Java, C, C++, C#
• Hard skills, Penetration Testing
• Experience with CA Certificates
• 3+ years of experience in security testing- Web Apps and Services, Network, Protocol, Hardware, Software
• Experience with development and testing tools such as Xcode, Eclipse, Visual Studio, Burp, HackRF, GnuRadio, BeEF, Metasploit, Defensics
• Certifications such as Offensive Security Certified Professional or Certified Ethical Hacker would be a bonus
