OVERALL PURPOSE: Responsible for the performance of any/all functions involved in the development and/or maintenance of new or existing applications.
ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Uses programming language and technology, writes code, completes programming and documentation, and performs testing and debugging of applications.
2. Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs and modifies software enhancements and/or new products used in local, networked, or Internet-related computer programs.
Additional Details:
Candidate will be responsible for creating interconnect traffic studies using UNIX shell scripting, PL/SQL and an internal proprietary language. Candidate needs to have good oral and written skills. Candidate may be requested to represent in legal proceedings applicable to interconnect traffic study research/findings.

Technology - Senior Network Architect

OVERALL PURPOSE:
Supports the customer's corporate network infrastructure and translates business needs into technical solutions, and defining solutions to problems through reasoned application of information technology.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Designs, develops, documents and analyzes overall architecture of systems, including hardware and software.
2) Determines integrated hardware and software architecture solutions that meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability, and security needs.
3) Provide architecture designs and cost estimates for midrange infrastructure required to provide computing resources for applications.
4) Coordinates design and integration of total system including subsystems.
5) Researches and recommends technology to improve the current systems.
6) Provides specialized technical guidance to others in work area.
7) Performs onsite data center support that includes problem management, change management, project support and new implementations.
8) Supports testing, planning, problem management, change management and staging of network hardware and configurations.

OVERALL PURPOSE: Responsible for installing, maintaining, and upgrading UNIX based servers.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide Microsoft Windows server(s) install, management, configuration and support in a critical production environment and to support 3rd party applications running on the windows server.
- Provide Microsoft Windows Server operating system support and patch management for compliance.
- Monitor and handle server tape backups, performance and availability in compliance to Service Level Agreements. Upgrade and replace server hardware and application where appropriate.
- Knowledge and support of Windows Active Directory and Group policy. Upgrade and replace server hardware and application where appropriate.
- Monitor daily tape backups and co-ordinate resolution or re-run of backups.
- Basic Unix level support to create userids, fix permissions, monitor and maintain disk space usage, monitor, setup and support data transfer/feeds issues over network.
- Work with IT, network and vendor(s) to open trouble tickets for issues.
Additional Details:
The Unix/Linux Server/Operating System Technical Support Manager provides an elevated level of technical support on Server hardware and Operating Systems to the teams within the IP Server/VOIP NRC. This position will be responsible for performing remote Operational Readiness Testing (ORT) on servers and their operating systems, storage arrays, as well as data backup and recovery solutions within the VOIP platforms Performing the ORT requires this position to insure that all supported elements have the proper network connectivity, are configured properly, are functioning properly, proper alarming is occurring, and all Operational requirements are met. This position will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving the problems that cause testing to fail. In those cases in which technical assistance is required, and vendors to troubleshoot and resolve the problems.
In situations where the testing procedures require updating, this position will be responsible for updating the documented procedures and will be responsible for sharing the updated documents with others within the team. The position will oversee and/or manage multiple deployments in parallel and each deployment will have a specific project schedule that must be met. This position will be responsible for insuring the elements they are responsible for testing meet the testing completion schedule and that status reports are provided to others within the team. This position supports multiple vendors' servers. Advanced level knowledge of Unix and Linux is required. A minimum of 3 years experience providing advanced technical support for unix/linux operating systems is required for this position.

Technology - Order Control Office Analyst (US Citizens Only)

1. ASR Ordering system - 2 Yrs.

3. Mapping and testing or troubleshooting DS1s - 3 Yrs.
4. Network and supporting systems - 3 Yrs.
OVERALL PURPOSE: Perform Mobility PCO (Provisioning Control Office) function in support of Mobility Network Provisioning.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Responsibilities will include managing the order process which encompasses order tracking, validating engineering, documenting and publishing daily reports. This will involve all aspects of the provisioning process including the turn up of service.
2. Must be able to map/test/troubleshoot DS1s and above; Services will range from DS0 to OC192.
3. Will support Mobility network infrastructure builds in addition to service order tracking and escalations.
4. Will project manage and coordinate internal and external interfaces to complete the test and turn-up of services.
5. Will facilitate conference calls to identify and resolve issues.
6. As the single point of contact, this individual will be required to partner with customers and various internal/external organizations to ensure deliverables are met.
