Job Title	Natezza  DBA
Relevant Experience (in Yrs)	7 +  years
Technical/Functional Skills	•               Design and create database schema scripts (DDL), deploy schema build scripts, maintain database baselines, support application requirements, testing and implementations. Must follow all migration policies and processes. •               Reasonable skill set in PL/SQL and NZ SQL development; ability to analyze and provide recommendation for performance tuning. •               Analyze and resolve, or recommend solutions to technical problems such as performance issues, integration of object-oriented relational database technology, data quality issues. •               Participate in modeling initiatives (object, logical), data analysis and application of corporate standards. •               Create sound database physical design models from object or logical models. •               Prepare status reports to accurately communicate progress; provide early notification of problems that could effect schedules, or the integrity or availability of data. •               2-3 years hands on Netezza DBA experience including building objects and maintaining all environments. •               NZ SQL development experience •               Unix operating system experience including shell scripting and file management.
Experience Required	3 – 6 years
Roles & Responsibilities	·          Maintain Netezza structure, tables, access ·          Confer with application development staff or project management staff regarding project planning, resource allocation, task definitions and schedules for substantial projects involving database(s). ·          Manage the warehouse environment - testing or restoring data, code builds, capacity planning, and assessing systems interfaces. ·          Develop and document database models, data dictionaries, data flow diagrams ·          Confer on troubleshooting problems of database(s) in production. ·          Use specific software utilities and tools to tune, troubleshoot, or refine database(s) and make their operation more efficient.
Generic Managerial Skills	Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation, presentation and influencing skills.
