Position:: Network Engineer

Work location:: is Charleston, SC.
Duration:: 12+ months. 

Technical Skills:

·  Candidate should be minimum (CCNP Routing and Switching) Certified

·  Preferable to have Certification on Checkpoint Firewall

·  Candidate should have minimum 15 years of relevant Datacenter network experience

·   Candidate Should have supported Enterprise customer Data Center environment at L3 level for at least 10 years

·  Candidate should have worked in Network Team lead position minimum for 5 years

·  Provide, architect, design, test, and deploy a secure Network supporting end-users, data centers, security enclaves, wired and wireless access

·  Proficient in configuration of Cisco Switches and routers. Switches ranging from 2900 Series to modular 4500 and 6500 Series.

·  In depth Knowledge on Nexus 7K, 5K and 2k environment to support Datacenter Services.

·  In depth Knowledge in firewall concepts and configuration. Both Checkpoint and ASA Firewall

·  In depth Knowledge in Cisco ASA VPN Configurations

·  In depth Knowledge on Cisco Wireless Controller based Network

·  Should have Sound knowledge of URL filtering using Web sense

·  Should have good diagnostic skills to quickly fix Datacenter network issues

·  Should have good concepts of Quality of Service

·  Should have Sound Knowledge of Voice over IP configurations

 

Non-Technical Skills:

·  Excellent team player

·  Demonstrate excellent communication skills including the ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers

·  Strong work ethic with good time management with ability to work with diverse teams and lead meetings

·  Translate business needs into technical requirements and consider budget and operational constraints as part of the design

·  Providing cost estimates of the recommended solution
