Role: Mainframe Architect
Location: Harrisburg, PA
Duration: 6+ Months
JOB PURPOSE & SUMMARY
The Design Architect is responsible for collaborating with the requirements team to realize application design. This role uses the business requirements as input and creates detailed design artifacts that are consumed by the Implementation Architect and Developers. The Design Architect is also responsible for communicating detailed design and high level design directions with other technical teams.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION& EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field and 8 years of system architecture experience or an equivalent combination of experience with training and/or certification.
- Demonstrated strong knowledge of application architecture and design
- Proven experience with sophisticated analysis and design methodologies
- Experience with delivering presentations and demonstration of team leadership
- Development experience
- Experience creating design artifacts
- Experience applying design patterns
- Proficient in COBOL/CICS development
- Experience with DB2 and SQL Concepts

Role: Web Architect

This role uses the business requirements as input and creates detailed design artifacts that are consumed by the Implementation Architect and Developers. The Design Architect is also responsible for communicating detailed design and high level design directions with other technical teams.
