Looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong knowledge of Retail / POS / Merchandise systems and workflows for a Contract position in Midtown NYC long term contract.

Required Skills:
. 6+ years' of experience as a Business Analyst or equivalent experience
. 4+ years' of full life cycle experience with both custom development and packaged application deployment, including experience working within a formal development methodology
. Experience in a retail operational strategy planning preferably with experience in retail point of sale and inventory systems
. Experience supporting consumer facing e-commerce web sites
. Experience with the software development life cycle, preferably Agile and Waterfall methodologies
. Experience in business process documentation and reengineering
. Exceptional verbal and written communications skills
. Experience in developing, upgrading and supporting consumer facing e-commerce web sites is required
. A Bachelor's degree in Business (or Management), Computer Science, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required
. Expert level knowledge of Visio and Microsoft Office Suite of products
. Past experience with Retail systems such as Chain Drive, Counterpoint, Microsoft Dynamics POS Retail, NetSuites, or Retail Pro is highly preferred
. Experience with Sports and Entertainment merchandising is preferred
Project is currently funded for 3 months, but there is a strong likelihood that it will be extended much longer.
The client is located in Midtown New York City (right by NY Penn Station)
