Database Developer II
Location: King of Prussia , PA

We are looking for talented people to join our Marketing Services Technology team. Our Database developers contribute to all phases of the development of solutions for our clients including: discovery, specification, implementation and support.
The successful candidate will be an experienced database developer with 5+ years of experience in the I.T industry and can perform business relevant analysis in an applied environment and specifically contribute their expertise and knowledge towards the successful execution and deployment of email marketing programs
Responsibilities:
• Develop, maintain and support the data exchange process between Enterprise and email service provider to support campaign management ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Development and implementation of programs to support effective campaign segmentation and analytics, data mining, modeling and profiling to turn disparate points of data into information and actionable metrics
• Work with the technology project teams to implement new functionality to support business needs.
• Implement technical data requirements for integrating partner data to be used for marketing campaigns.
• Develop ETL plans and processes
• Schedule Jobs using work load automation tools
• Importing client data files into Oracle (10g and above) databases.
• Processing large data files in a UNIX environment.
• Writing scripts, functions and stored procedures using SQL or Oracle PL/SQL.
• Performing quality assurance checks.
• Updating databases to ensure data integrity
• Provide technical support and respond to error reports, problems or questions
• Automate processes and procedures to reduce manual monitoring efforts.
• Qualifications:
• Years of experience: 5+ years
• BS/BA in Computer Science or related discipline required
• At least 3 years of technical experience with databases and data warehousing tools
• 5 years Oracle Database and Oracle PL/SQL experience
• 5 years' Experience with ETL tools (Informatica, Data stage, Talend etc.,)
• 3 years -experience with Control-M
• 3 years' experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting
• Experience working across multiple technical teams
• Database Marketing experience a plus
• Familiar with email marketing concepts, practices and programs is a huge plus
• Well organized and able to manage multiple projects in a fast paced and demanding environment
• Attention to detail and quality; excellent problem solving and communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn new tools and applications.
