Infrastructure Lead

 

The Infrastructure Lead position includes the following:

 

·         Manage all aspects to the technical infrastructure required for the project, including all hardware, software, and other peripheral items required. Hardware includes laptops, workstations, blade servers, scanners and a SAN. Software includes SharePoint, Oracle, K2 workflow tool, Microsoft Windows Server, SQL Server, Kofax imaging, address verification software, and VMWare.

·         Confirm the infrastructure architecture of all solutions for the project, including networking considerations, and suggest changes, where necessary.

·         Lead the procurement, installation, initial set-up and configuration, testing and deployment of all infrastructure components for the project.

·         Design, implement and manage the configuration management process for the project.

·         Provide appropriate documentation related to the infrastructure components as well as knowledge transfer to client staff, as needed.

·         Debug and troubleshoot issues in the infrastructure components, if needed.

·         Provide production support of the infrastructure components, as needed.

·         Partner with each client solution team and appropriate client staff in executing all infrastructure tasks.

·         Lead the overall infrastructure effort while also working at a detailed level to complete all tasks as the sole infrastructure resource for the project.

 

ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIRED:

 

7+ years' experience with technical infrastructure design, procurement, installation, set-up, testing, deployment and support (required)

Experience with laptops, workstations, blade servers, scanners and SANs

 

HARDWARE/SOFTWARE PACKAGES:

·         Dell Latitude laptops

·         HP Blade servers

·         HP 3PAR SAN

·         Kodak scanners

·         Dell OptiPlex Mini Tower workstations
