Position: SOLUTION ARCHITECT MAINFRAME

Location: WINDSOR, CT

Duration: 6+ Months (6 to 12Months)

Experience: 8-10 years

 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

·         IBM Mainframe with Insurance domain experience. Architect level.

·         Experience in designing and architecting large mainframe applications.

·         TOGAF Certification preferred.

·         Level of Experience: 10+ years

Technical skills:

Mainframe – Architecting:

·         Should have good Foundation in mainframe Application architecture.

·         Should have Awareness (of many) and expertise (of few) Design and development tools in mainframe technologies.

·         Have awareness of the interfaces [MQ series, Message bokers] between mainframe and web services.

·         Should undergo training and certification in either RDz, RAA or NET Express.

·         Should have good Foundation in Application architecture and OOAD and Implemental Delivery Should possess good Understanding of Non-functional requirements."

Mainframe – Consulting:

·         Consulting and Solution Management skills in the Mainframe Technology, Domain, Process areas Experience in providing Solution alternatives, suggest and implement best practices in Mainframe Application Development, Migration, Legacy Modernization and maintenance projects

·         Should have exposure to estimating Project effort and cost for mainframe applic

·          

·          

·         TOGAF Certification:

·        
TOGAF Certified Should be a Expert in Mainframe architecture.

·         Architect should have strong hands-on knowledge on Evaluating, Proposing and Implementation of Business architecture, Application architecture, Data architecture, Information architecture and Integration architecture.
